Awards 1963 Prix des Jeunes Artistes at the Biennale in Paris
One of the most successful British artists associated with Pop art in the 60s, Allen Jones is one of the most prolific artists working in Britain today. Prints form an integral part of Jones's creative processes, and he has produced a steady stream of graphic works using his recurring theme of the female figure as derived from commercial imagery. He has recently completed a new set of four screenprints for the Alan Cristea Gallery, as well as a print in collaboration with the British Museum, the proceed from which benefit the Museum.
