1968 Born in Paisley, Scotland (UK)
Lives and works in Glasgow
1986 - 1990 Glasgow School of Art; BA(Hons) in Fine Art (Graduated from the Department of Environmental Art)
1991 - 1993 Glasgow School of Art; Masters of Fine Art
1995 - 1996 SCOTTISH ARTS COUNCIL AUSTRALIAN RESIDENCY; 12 months as Artist in Residence at two Australian Art Schools. Hosted by Canberra School of Art and The Tasmanian School of Art in Hobart.
1997 ARTIST IN RESIDENCE AT ‘200 GERTRUDE STREET’; 4 month studio residency at the gallery "200 Gertrude Street", Melbourne
ARTIST IN RESIDENCE, MILLENNIUM PROJECT, GOVANHILL; 4 month residency in Govanhill, Glasgow. Employed by Visual Arts Projects and Govanhill Housing Association, to work in collaboration with an architect and a landscape architect on the design of a new park
