Biography: 
1952 Born in Oberhausen, (DE)
Balthaus studied at the University of Arts Berlin, which he completed successfully in 1983 as a master student of Prof. Helmut Lortz. He then studied for a year at the California Institute of the Arts in Los Angeles. He writes articles about new media and art in skyscrapers Art Journal, London Artscribe Balthaus worked since 1988 as a freelance artist in Berlin. 2009 he was a visiting professor at the UDK Berlin.
The focal points of Fritz Balthaus are "accurate test arrangements as ironic interventions in the art world and the exhibition industry". [2] He creates both sculptures, like the flower in 2009 for the Federal Garden Show in Schwerin [3], as well as architectural works, such as marked space - unmarked space. This is the artistic facade design Berlinische Galerie in Berlin-Kreuzberg. 2010, Pure Moore bronze sculpture, art and architecture, Federal, built on the site of the BKA-service office in Berlin-Treptow.
