1956 Born in Chattanooga, TN (US)
"These drawings were my own very personal joy, and were hidden for years under my bed. It wasnīt until after I got up the nerve to exhibit them (in a bar in Hollywood) that I finally released them for others to see. Now, I donīt know if a utopian TV neighborhood is such a good idea. I mean, what if you built a Mike & Carol Brady house and then didnīt have enough children to fill it up? Or, if you chose Mary Richardsīs apartment, does that mean you have to drive . . .a Ford Mustang? . . . in general, I tried to make these houses complete . . .I didnīt draw them for fame or fortune. I drew them for love."
