Biography: 
1964 Born in København (DK)
Lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Martin Erik Andersen trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and at El Fonuun-Gamila in Cairo, Egypt. He works with installations in an almost sculptural way and explores the area between the body and the architecture which houses the installation. Andersen recently had a solo exhibition at Galleri Susanne Ottesen in Copenhagen and he is represented in the collections of such institutions as the Statens Museum for Kunst and the ARKEN Museum of Modern Art.
