1988 Graduated Architectural Department of the Faculty of Engineering of Tokyo University (BAEng.)
1989 Graduated Image Forum Institute of Moving Image, Tokyo
Awards 1990 Received the Special Juror's Prize for Swimming Prohibited (89 min, 8 mm, 1989) at the 1990 Image Forum Festival, Tokyo
1996 Received the NETPAC Prize for HEAVEN-6-BOX (16mm, 60min, Kochi Prefectural Museum of Art, 1994-95) at the 46th Berlin International Film Festival
