Ana Vidigal began her artistic career in the 1980s. This exhibition goes back to her first paintings and drawings, in which she was already using textures and recycling materials, and will take in her most recent works, specifically installations in which she reflects on the female condition and the colonial war.

Colourful and ironic, Vidigal's work has developed for 30 years in very much its own way, largely outside of the museum circuit.
