"TERRARISM"

Anna Maneta opens the season for a.antonopoulou.art on Wednesday the 24th of September with her new work, entitled "TERRARISM".

The term "TERRARISM"- by combining the words "terra" (land, earth) and "terrorism"- refers to the feelings of fear and insecurity that are being triggered by the constant change of the climatic conditions and its forthcoming consequences.

Anna Maneta having already dealt with universal themes that affect the human existence beyond cultural or geographical differences in her previous exhibitions, she now refers to the dramatic changes that take place all around us, forcing us to get accustomed to adverse circumstances of living.

Her exhibition comprises an installation which is based on the transformation of space through photographs, constructions and paintings.

Duration until the 25th of October 2008.
Visiting hours: Tuesday-Friday 2-9 and Saturday 12-4.
The gallery will be open on Sunday the 19th of October 2008.
