ART ELYSEES returns for its 5th edition on the Champs-Elysées during the week dedicated to modern and contemporary art in Paris, from October 20th to the 24th.

In 2010, Art Elysées lived up to the highest of expectations, hence demonstrating its swift evolution in terms of quality and reputation as well as considerable sales... Art Elysées welcomed more than 38,000 visitors, to the great satisfaction of exhibitors and collectors.
For its 5th edition, the fair cultivate its distinct emphasis on modern art and contemporary «classical,» but keep also important relations with galleries of contemporary creation.
The fair continues to pursue its objective of active participation in the art market, while simultaneously developing its cultural dimension through the constant integration of new exhibitions and institutions within its structure. In 2010, ART ÉLYSÉES was pleased to spotlight the Vasarely Foundation as guest of honor and featured the exhibition entitled «GREEN, photographic sights,» legendary pictures of a family fascinated by the image throughout four generations.
This year, ART ÉLYSÉES has the pleasure to welcome the Maillol Museum as guest of honor for its 5th edition. On this occasion, the Museum will present a preview of their two upcoming exhibitions: Pompéi - «A lifestyle art», will strive to show the modernity of the Roman civilization, the pedestal base and inescapable memory of our occidental culture. The exhibition will be featured at the Maillol Museum from September 21, 2011 to February 12, 2012.
The second exhibition: «Remains of a Day» will introduce the work of Israeli painter, Ra'anan Levy. Sinks, manholes, flooded void spaces... The works of this artist, who is considered along the same lines as the great artists of the early twenty-first century, will be installed as well on the 2nd floor of the museum from November 9, 2011 to February 12, 2012.
Since 2007, the fair has taken part in the artistic and cultural dynamism of Paris, known for its high standing within the international art rankings, for its openness toward the world of art, and for its excellence.
In 2011, the organizers persevere in their efforts to promote the dynamic evolution of ART ÉLYSÉES and to ensure an even more qualitative and harmonized edition.
