The SEEN&UNSEEN exhibition by Bent Holstein shows a series of unique works that resemble reality but, in fact, do not exist.

The works resample Holstein's hand-coloured etchings dating back from the 70s combined with photos of walls from cities such as New York and Berlin. In addition, fields of coloured papers have in turn been photographed and used in the final collage. Thus, each work is made of several images revealing multiple layers of time.

The exhibition highlights Bent Holsteins ongoing search for new expressions and techniques, as well as his highly refined sense of detail that adds another dimension to the works.
