The third edition of CIRCA Puerto Rico, the First International Art Fair in the Caribbean and Central America, returns to the Puerto Rico Convention Centre from April 11–14, 2008.

In just two years, CIRCA Puerto Rico has shown its potential to give new visibility to the Caribbean art world where an exciting mix of regional artists, gallerists, institutions and collectors, together with a selection of young international galleries, offered a very personal and
dynamic art fair. Among the highlights of the fair is “In the Spot”, a curated cutting edge artists’ section which offers curators the possibility of setting up a concept based exhibition from works exhibited at the fair and engage in a critical dialogue with the audience. Other sections include “Solo” in which individual artists present special projects, “District CIRCA”, where art publications present their latest editions, and a section for non-profit institutions.

Set in spectacular San Juan, CIRCA Puerto Rico combines the best of international art with a stimulating program of cultural events which include: exhibition openings, art workshops, panel discussions, guided visits, book presentations, concerts, performances, and video art, for everyone from specialized professionals to the general public.
