In England the phrase "don't give up the day job" is usually used as a put down to someone who is inferior in an artistic field. There are not many working artists lucky enough to make a living from their art and most spend their time working in a field loosely linked to art or juggling two roles.

This exhibition is art made by artists who have managed to link the two together. Whether it's Günther Bernhart who frequently collaborates with the artist group Gelitin and sings for the electronic trio/art project Allen Alexis, photographer Rama Knight whose commissions for large lifestyle corporations are often dismissed as being "too arty" or Rob Jessup who works both as an artist, curator and music promoter.
