“Erinnern - Remembering” 1945 - 1995

A Portfolio of Graphic Artwork by International Artists
Published by Edition Klaus Staeck

In 1995 celebrating the 30th anniversary of his publishing house, Klaus Staeck asked a group of renown artists to provide print artwork to be combined in an edition of 35 portfolios + a few A.P.

The content of the work was supposed to reflect the 50th Anniversary of the End of WWII and was titled: ‘Erinnern - Remembering 1945 - 1995’.

The work of 20 artists got included in the portfolio. Using different techniques like, serigraphy, wood cut, offset lithography, silk screen, etching or mixed media, the different contributions delivered an impressive document of skills and meaningful document of Contemporary Art.

All 21 pieces are been exhibited in completion for the first time in California.


The exhibition will be opened with a Reception on Sunday, August 5, 4 to 6PM.
