We are delighted to announce our current exhibition by Garry Fabian Miller of his most recent series of cameraless photographs 'Exposure', made in response to time spent on the Hebridean Island of Tiree. The exhibition runs until 5 November.
2005 has been an important year for Fabian Miller. His work was the subject of a major exhibition at Rencontres d'Arles, Europe's major festival of photography in the south of France, and Illumine, a 256 monograph was published by Merrell Ltd, and launched by a presentation of his work in the photography galleries of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. The end of the year sees a further exhibition, Real in the World at the Mead Gallery, the University of Warwick (3 Nov – 3 Dec).
To celebrate this extraordinary new body of work we have published the book 'Exposure' with an essay by Ian Warrell, Curator of the Turner Collection at Tate alongside images of key works from the series (£10 plus p+p). Please see our Bookshop and Editions section for more details of this catalogue and the special edition of twenty containing a small-scale dye destruction print relating to the Exposure series signed and numbered by the artist.
