Vartai Gallery will host the Greetings by G. Trimakas. The project is special, because this is the first time Trimakas introduces colour photography or - according to himself - a search for colour. He takes different compact cameras ("because I have an addiction to collect heaps of cameras and a need to give them all a chance to speak"), puts the cheapest colour film in them and takes pictures of the sky relying on the automatic exposure of the camera, which most often results in an error. "I have been fighting the joy of image recognition all my life", jests the author.

Greetings is a natural sequel to Trimakas' classic Pauses, but this time the photographer employs yet another technique - Facebook social network, where the Greetings have been on display for over a year. The author is greeting us and hopefully his images will be heard.
