AVEAGOYAMUG! I'm not sure that Epimetheus actually spoke those words, however Gunter Christmann obviously has reason to imagine he might. Epimetheus, is sometimes called the god of mischief and I suspect that the artist is perhaps creating a little of this in his current exhibition. The witty titles and clever compositions of recurring elements are wonderful excuses for us to smile, and appreciate the humour and the audaciousness of these beautiful paintings.
