The implicit relationship between humans and landscape is apparent in the myriad of ways the two interact and are represented. The exhibition 'Human Landscapes' looks at the interaction between these two components and presents the dichotomy in the body of work that results. Through the collective works the importance of landscape is depicted as physical space, as place with its meaning and contributions to social identity and society and as psychological state. The didactic representation of natural, constructed and imaginary landscapes contiguous to distorted memories and disaffected dreams create a sense of the role landscape plays as physiological restoration and its impact on human nature.
