Ilona Németh - multimedia artist, born in 1963 in Dunajska Streda, lives and works in Slovakia. Leads the Inter- and Multimedia studio called „in" on the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava. Her installations are regularly exhibited around the world, e.g. in A.I.R. Gallery in New York, AS 220, Providence, Rhode Island, in Modern Art Oxford, in Mu"csarnok, Budapest, Ludwig Museum, Cologne and Budapest, Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo, etc. In 2001 she represented Slovakia on the 49. Biennale di Venezia (with Jiri Suru*wka), in 2005 and 2007 took part in Prague Biennale. Ilona Németh is recipient of many prestigious international awards and scholarships - 2008/09 Fulbright Scholarship, The Pollock-Krasner Foundation award and other.
The artist will show one of her important installations "Code" as well as recent works. |
