With all teeth gone.
There is optimism.
There is a frightful shutter of years past.
There were only a few minutes of rage. Circle within circle. It was until
"so far", an evening of peace. One Cough, a creek, 3 footsteps, 2
plastic sliding doors gliding hard until open.
Creak/squeak/squawking steps tapped. Upper-lip, subtle, until we
were him and then croaked. Considered rot, potted, slivered.
Ceased, deceased, a dignified pine boxed welcome. Wavering.
Becoming something, one, how, day, where.
smashed, wetted.
Eased into slipped skin cracked.
With all teeth gone.
There is optimism.
