João Queiroz presents a group of six new large-scale oil paintings on canvas, in which he shows several sides of his relationship with the act of painting, in accordance with a dynamic, non-appropriative vision of Nature. Starting with an act of seeing that apprehends the natural phenomenon, analysing it in its indeterminate and impermanent aspects, he develops, in diverse ways, his paintings, using their specificities (brush-stroke, colour, texture, light, composition), as elements that, taken as a whole, reveal and suggest the various possibilities of presentation, objectification and individuation that are implied in our approach to Nature.
