After the success of our group show last year, this September we are pleased to once again present an exhibition by artists affiliated with the gallery as well as guest artists invited for this occasion.

Crying jags, growth, idols, somnolence, suicide, fear of rebirth, discovery of one's own body, depression, an interest in fashion: this year's group show at Laura Mars Grp., entitled "Lebenslänglich 14," or "14 for Life," deals with the phenomenon of growing up.

As a themed exhibition, "Lebenslänglich 14" addresses attitudes and situations that are associated with puberty, but which can occur in all age groups and environments. The show devotes itself to the emergence of a never-ending adolescence in a society fixated on bodies and kept in a perpetual childhood; it investigates the hidden and intimate territories made up of experiences, knowledge, dreams and reality, in which the self – and outside images – are reflected.
