Dear Friends of the gallery,

Jarmuschek und Partner is pleased to announce the first solo-show of the Berlin-based artist Markus Weis in the gallery from March 8th - April 19th 2008.

Markus Weis, born 1965 in Koblenz, was scholarship holder of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and paints perfectly composed images, which show strict interiors of great calmness. After successful group shows and fair participations in London, Barcelona and Berlin, Markus Weis' latest works are shown in the exhibition Blaue Stunde. In Blaue Stunde Weis succeeds to combine coloured plains in a way that the seemingly astriction of the two-dimensional painting is abolished by the component of the room.

We are looking forward to welcoming you and your friends to the opening on Friday, March 7th 2008 at 7 p.m.
