212GALLERY is pleased to announce the first US solo exhibition for internationally acclaimed contemporary photographer, Max Vadukul.
'Kinetic Force', is a powerful collection of eight iconic images taken over the past 25 years. Large in scale, the remarkable images give insight into several areas of the artist's extensive portfolio. Mr. Vadukul has photographed a vast and diverse range of subjects, from The Rolling Stones to Mother Teresa. And, through his work with The New Yorker, has documented many of the great stories of the past twenty years.
Vadukul has a unique ability to capture the essence of his subjects, often within their own environment. His photographs are alive and often confrontational, allowing the viewer to see iconic figures as if for the first time. Vadukul's work is candid, direct, challenging and highly emotional. His imagery is timeless, and uniquely his own.
Max Vadukul was born in Nairobi, Kenya and currently works and resides in New York City. He is a noted filmmaker, as well as the lead photographer for 'Rolling Stone' magazine. His work has clearly raised the bar for contemporary photography, becoming highly collectible in the process.
