5-8 July 2012 : 3rd Edition
Building on the success of the 2010 & 2011ís editions, BEIRUT ART FAIR in Lebanon stands out as an essential platform for the promotion of contemporary art of the ME.NA.SA countries (Middle East, North Africa, South Asia).
The participating galleries of the two last editions of the fair allowed collectors, international professionals, and amateurs to discover the artistic wealth of an emerging market, that hasnít stopped growing over the last three years.
Beirut, which is the historic crossing between the East and the West regions, remains a privileged destination for cultural lovers.
For its third edition, BEIRUT ART FAIR (ME.NA.SA.Art) accentuates its position through a rich program of conferences & workshops, a VIP round through the city, meetings between collectors and galleries, happenings, cultural exhibitions, open spaces, off events, as well as, forty international art galleries carefully selected to offer a complete panorama on the young creation of our ME.NA.SA. regions.
The BEIRUT ART FAIR team is delighted to welcome you in Lebanon, from the 5 to 8 July 2012, at the Beirut International Exhibition & Leisure Center (BIEL), for its new edition.
The innovations will amaze you!
What is BEIRUT ART FAIR?
BEIRUT ART FAIR is the only contemporary art fair dedicated to artists from the ME.NA.SA region (Middle East, North Africa, South Asia).
The latest happenings in this wide territory - that extends from Morocco to Indonesia, going through the Middle East, has become the centre of attention of the
whole world. Art is one of the main channels through which this ęcontinentĽ is expressing its aspirations. A new vision is being embodied.
For the last six years, artists and galleries have met in this region in their own way; collectors have figured it out and the most insightful ones have come to
Beirut. The Artís center of gravity is moving towards the ME.NA.SA region. It is a fact!
The artistic maturity of the art world continues to evolve and prosper, as evidenced over the past years with the escalating audience of collectors and profes-
sionals notably from the Middle East, Iran, Malaysia and North Africa.
Our intuition reverberates increasingly louder each month. ME.NA.SA. is not only a vast economic region that has emerged in recent years. It is most impor-
tantly a kind of transverse continent, intercontinental, with its own identity both artistically and culturally.
