Menno Fahl is connecting the artistic genres painting and sculpture in an especial manner. Just as he is dissolving the boundaries between these two genres his artworks are touching the boundary to abstraction. These forms of appearance result from a casual exposure to a subtle chromaticity which determines the sculpture's dynamic. With a spontaneous handling of material, sometimes finds, the artworks breath a process-like formation. An individual appearance of things remains important and is retained inside the complete composition. The working process is not determined by a purposeful creation of a structured sculpture. In fact it is a continuous process of becoming which is not least finished in the beholder's eye. | |||||
