This exhibition consists of three parts: engraved glass sculptures framed in steel that refer to the commercial sign language of Los Angeles, large prints made of several photographs, and a newspaper. Together, these objects refer to the ephemeral and sometimes glorified lives of images as they enter our lives.

Praxis is linked to the culture of DIY (do-it-yourself) and stems from the current economic crisis. At the same time, it is a laboratory or experimental workshop that is dynamic and complementary in character and which in itself generates an alternative module to the annual programme. Schechter will be in the ARTIUM exhibition space throughout the entire duration of the project.
