Central subjects are dealing with magical, strange or fantastic elements by means of exotic figures, which are often alienated by the collage-like arrangement of different photographic parts. Also the crossfade of multiple image planes is an often used stylistic device which call for a precise investigation in order to decrypt the single image planes with their specific content. But apart from this theoretical approach, the decryption should be seen as an expedition in surrealistic worlds which lead to intense art experiences. Beside these portrait-like studies, the experimental treatment with space, perspective and porportion is a main subject of his photographic works. But still, the collage remains as the major device with which Majewska allows the viewer to approach his images in an associative and not in a concrete manner.
