The art gallery is not an idealised space set apart from the real world. It cannot function in isolation from what exists beyond its walls. These walls are pierced and its space is plumbed and plugged into all that surrounds it. What comes in resonates, reverberates and bleeds out again. Reverberator involves the work of four contemporary artists together with that of the maverick 1970s figure Andre Cadere in an intriguing exploration of this process of exchange. Each piece in the show reveals a multifaceted understanding of space: a complex interplay between the work itself, the meaning conferred by the gallery context and that found in the world outside.
