If it was possible to use a word for Rogério Ghomes exhibition, that opens next Saturday, March 31st at Ybakatu Espaço de Arte, this word would be "saudade" (miss/regard) . The installation "Donde estoy, estoy a te esperar!" started with an empty bench in Buenos Aires and became an open project that added different images of public spaces from several cities like Madrid, Londrina(Brasil), Rio de Janeiro, Paraty, Ponta Grossa, Curitiba,São Paulo and London.

"It is a collection that has the possibility of different assembly configurations, with new images" ,explain the artist..What never changes is the number of images: they are always 36 images, a reference to the classic photographs films for 36 exposures. Each image shows a scene of an empty bench. Cada imagem mostra um cenário com um banco vazio. The lens of the artist , the images reflect the longing and loneliness, recurrent issues in contemporary everyday life.
