ROMA Contemporary
MACRO Testaccio (ex Mattatoio)
For its fifth edition (May 25–27), the fair returns to the beautiful spaces of MACRO Testaccio with a renewed and enriched project. Among the novelties of this fifth edition are a different, shortened title—ROMA CONTEMPORARY—and a new graphic identity courtesy of the young Swiss designers Larissa Kasper & Rosario Florio. The team of professionals that collaborate with the fair—including Chris Sharp and Luca Cerizza, curators of the “Out of Range” and “Start Up” sections—will now be enriched by an overall creative consultancy of Alessio Ascari, founder and editor-in-chief of KALEIDOSCOPE magazine, who will be in charge of conceiving and directing a new program of exhibition projects and events. The restyling will extend not only to the fair’s image, but to its very structure and cultural offerings, in the firm belief that the current period of crisis can be overcome by the power of ideas and of a quality cultural program.
