During the summer 2000 a group from the museum’s research network went on an inspiration tour to London. We saw the newly opened Tate Modern and several other small and large exhibitions. Many of these showed art and ideas of very high quality and had big exhibition potentials. However, the works at the Degree show 2000 at the Royal College of Art made a deep impression. Especially 11 artists stood out and as soon as we got back to Denmark they became the starting point for the exhibition Royal Collage.
