This exhibition shows positions taken up by space-related art, linking various fields like fine art, music, architecture and design. Large-scale space-related works by the following artists will be shown: Isabel Mundry, composer (b. 1963, Frankfurt/D), Andreas Schmid, artist (b. 1955, Berlin/D), Peter Haimerl, architect (b. 1961, Munich/D), Philippe Parreno, artist (b. 1964, Oran/Algeria, lives in Paris/ F). More new DaimlerChrysler Collection acquisitions will complete the exhibition, by Albert Weis, artist (b. 1969, Berlin/D), Are You Meaning Company, artist (Tokyo /Japan), Katja Davar, artist (b. 1968, GB, lives in Cologne/D). The exhibition also includes a new large sculpture for Potsdamer Platz by Auke de Vries, artist (b. 1937 Friesia, lives in The Hague/NL). |
