SPECTA is happy to present the second solo exhibition by the Icelandic painter Thordis Adalsteinsdottir. The exhibition title “Studies” suggests an innocent wish to explore topics or techniques, as we know it from art in a historic perspective. But though new elements to her paintings do occur in these works, Thordis Adalsteinsdottir’s paintings are still very disturbing and far from innocent.
