As a kind of second part and in the form of a procedural contextualisation of the previous exhibition, Time of urgencies, is presented. This exhibition sets out to provide a new and particular view based on works carried out exclusively for this occasion by four Span´s most contemporary.

The artists put themselves in the shoes of the Malaga-born artist, and have been given the job of preparing a “presumed” Guernica. However, on this occasion, this is based or inspirited by facts, by current occurrences and situations.

With htis original proposal, the exhibition aims to analyse the iconic value of this emblematic work and to show the ability of this piece to occupy an important space in our collective consciousness, converting its representations instinctively and automatically into anti-war discourses or favorable to a socially positive wish.
