We are looking forward to welcome you at ART COLOGNE 2010!

In the entrance hall (South entry) we will present the large scale work by Yin Xiuzhen 'Collective Unconscious' as part of the art cologne sculpture project. Yin Xiuzhen 'dissected' an old Chinese taxi and 'stretched' the minibus with an accordion of white blouses, t-shirts and chemises to be 15 meters long. The thus created interior room is accessible and the public finds itself sitting on small Chinese street stools. The artist describes the fragile construction with these words: 'Parts of the Chinese community are pretending to drive a Rolls Royce or a Bentley. But China has access to rather limited possibilities and I want to make these visible here.'

An equivalent piece is shown at the MOMA - Museum of Modern Art New York, she is to be seen in May 2010 at the Centre Pompidou in Paris and she is invited to participate at the 11. Triennale Fellbach Kleinkunst. Later this fall we will be having a solo exhibition with her in our Berlin based Gallery and the Kunsthalle Groningen will show her in 2011.

At our stand 11.3 E 28/F 29 we will also be showing photography by Yin Xiuzhen, paintings by Yang Shaobin, drawings by Liu Wentao, digital works by Miao Xiaochun and sculpture by Wang Shugang as well as the newcomer Su Bo.

Furthermore we continue to internationalize the program with European painters such as Miriam Vlaming, Radek Szlaga, Fides Becker and Andreas Amrhein.
