Artparis sets out on a more contemporary orientation
 
  For its ninth edition, artparis installs itself once again, as in the previous year,
under the glass roof of the Grand Palais. A definitively spring event,
artparis again welcomes the prestigious names which joined it in 2006,
through which it has connected itself to a number of important
galleries specialized in contemporary art.

It is noteworthy that since the change of the event’s date on the calendar,
the percentage of returning exhibitors has come up to 70%.
The number of foreign galleries, which has now leveled out to a constant rate,
is around 30%, as in the previous year.
Nine editors are present and seventeen galleries participate
in the Sculpture Program.

Furthermore, the first prize for drawing to be given by Daniel
and Florence Guerlain Foundation will be awarded during the fair
and the works of the three nominated artists
will be on view for the duration of the fair.
