In her film Swiss director Edith Jud drafts an insightful portrait of the artist Miriam Cahn. The film traces Cahn's life and creative work from the early 1980s to the year 2004 and shows the artwork produced during this period.

The film, which offers no commentary, is accompanied by music conveying tones produced by Miriam Cahn herself.
