   DUARTE AMARAL NETTO, Portugal - shortlisted for the 8th edition

We're very proud to announce that Duarte Amaral Netto has been shortlisted for the 8th edition of the BES Photo Award 2012. The award's show will be held at the Museum Collection Berardo, Lisbon, Portugal, and the Pinacoteca, São Paulo, Brazil.

"Duarte Amaral Netto, born 1976 in Lisbon, has been chosen for his "work that he has been doing the last decade, and especifically for the conceptual quality of the show "The Polish Club Case", presented in Lisbon" states the awards communiqué." (newspaper Público online)

Portugal, Mocambique and Brazil are the three countries present at the 2012 edition of the BESPhoto Award. The Portuguese Duarte Amaral Netto, the Brazilian Rosangela Rennó, the Mocambican Mauro Pinto and the Brazilan collective Cia de Foto are the candidates for the biggest photography award of the Portuguese language speaking countries (PALOP).
