On Sunday 17 April, BAK, basis voor actuele kunst is pleased to invite you to the finissage of In the Middle of Things, a solo exhibition by Moscow-based artist Olga Chernysheva. From 17:00 until 19:00, you can visit the exhibition and join us for a drink on BAK's upper floor. In the Middle of Things follows the artist's method of tracing the conditions of contemporary life, based on the example of her native Russia. Chernysheva presents moments of encounter between the unexceptional and the historically revealing, which take place in the most hidden corners of the everyday. In the Middle of Things is a research exhibition within the framework of the project FORMER WEST. It is curated by Cosmin Costinas,.
