Buchmann Galerie Berlin/Lugano is pleased to announce its participation at Art | 41 | Basel.
We will present the following highlights:

Within the context of the ART BASEL Art Public Projects, Bettina Pousttchi will be showing the 15 x 19 metre photo work, Basel Time II, on the façade of Messehalle 1. Her work creates a visual echo of the public clock mounted on top of the main entrance to the fair's exhibition halls.

At our booth Hall 2.0/B1 we focus on the following works:

MARIO MERZ
The work Cono nello spazio shows the classical form of Merz' energy lance and is in its iconography one of the central works by Mario Merz. It was reproduced in various catalogs including the Moderna Museet, Stockholm and the Kunstmuseum Winterthur.
In addition, other important works on paper from the late 60s to early 70s, are presented.

TONY CRAGG
African Culture Myth is a key work from the early 80s. The work has been shown in several exhibitions and is reproduced in a variety of catalogs and monographs of Tony Cragg

TATSUO MIYAJIMA
The new work Diamond in You by Tatsuo Miyajima draws the viewer with its reflections into the artwork in a subtle manner. The fan-like image, in which the numbers continuously repeat themselves, symbolize the value of individual life.

Furthermore, we show selected works by: Sean Dawson, Wolfgang Laib, Wilhelm Mundt, Bettina Pousttchi and Fiona Rae.
