One of the centerpieces of the gallery's presentation at Art Basel Miami Beach is Bettina Pousttchi's large sculpture Double Monument (for Flavin and Tatlin). The Iranian-German artist attracted wide attention for her critically acclaimed photo installation on the facade of Art Basel last June. Bettina Pousttchi will have a solo-exhibition at Kunsthalle Basel in January 2011. The largest Trashstone ever, made of cast and polished aluminum by German sculptor Wilhelm Mundt, will be on display after its first presentation at the Lehmbruck Museum in Duisburg where a group of five of the artist's Trashstones in resin have recently become part of the Museum's important collection of contemporary and modern sculpture. We are very delighted to show some new paintings by British RA painter Fiona Rae as well as an exceptional triangular sculpture in granite by Wolfgang Laib. Drawings and watercolors by Tony Cragg, who will open an exhibition at the Louvre in Paris on January 26, will complete this year's presentation at Art Basel Miami Beach. We are very much looking forward to welcoming you at our booth # C26 BUCHMANN GALERIE BERLIN / LUGANO Charlottenstrasse 13 D - 10969 Berlin T. +49-30-258 999 29 F. +49-30-258 999 39 info@buchmanngalerie.com www.buchmanngalerie.com Tue - Sat 11am - 6pm Image: Bettina Pousttchi London Time, 2008 photograph, ed. of 4 120 x 150 cm / 47 ¼ x 26 x 2 ¾ in | |||
