During the 25th anniversary of Art Amsterdam, Ellen de Bruijne Projects will be presenting a solo show by Ksenia Galiaeva (Russia, 1976). Galiaeva was not trained to be a photographer in an academic manner. Once given an old Zenit camera, she took up photographing her family, in an all natural and intimate way. Meanwhile she changed camera's, but didn't stop photographing her hometown, which resulted in this solo presentation and the book 'Dacha'. This book will also be announced at Art Amsterdam.

Since the book is still a draft version, it is only possible to sign in to purchase the book, as the book will be released in September this year. The special price at the early sign in will be € 22,75. The normal price of this book is € 32,50.

De Groene Amsterdammer published this week an article on Galiaeva's work, written by Jannie Regnerus.

Jannie Regenerus' photographs will be also on show at Art Amsterdam.
Her work was selected by the Stedelijk Museum for the exhibition OFF THE RECORD: Municipal Art Acquisitions 2009.
