Dear Friends of Bode Gallery, The most famous German contemporary artist, Gerhard Richter, celebrates his 80th birthday today. We should like to add to the list of congratulators and like to point out an especial exhibition. Kunstverein Bremerhaven showcases with "Benjamin Katz fotografiert Gerhard Richter" an exhibition with a focus on the artist himself. Over 25 years Benjamin Katz, the most important chronicler of the German contemporary art, has accompanied Gerhard Richter with his camera and has created in this way a collection of unique moments.
