   Dear Friends of Bode Gallery,

Today it is the 110th birthday of the artist Richard Lindner!


Richard Lindner (1901-1978) has developed since the end of the fourties an independent way of depiction beside the mainstream of American art. Today he is concidered as a vanguard of the American Pop Art.

Kunsthalle Schweinfurt showcases from today the exhibition "Figur pur" which contrasts the artworks of four artists. The works out of the lithographic portfolio "Marilyn was here" and the graphics out of the series "Fun City", both are exhibited, are on loan from the graphic collection of Bode Gallery.
