Profile |
|
Heppen Transfer is located in a historic apartment-house built in the beginning of XX century by a famous architect of the secession period - Mr. Waclaw Heppen, hence the name of our gallery. We have a beautiful space of 160 square meters with excellently preserved original interior details, such as decorative hardwood floors and stuccoes on ceilings of each room, as well as a hypnotic view on Warsaw. We invested a lot of energy into restoring these details, which present a fascinating contrast to the contemporary art exhibited in this setting. The gallery opened with a group show in June 2008. Since the opening it has aroused significant interests of both art world and the general public and raised a considerable media response. [...] |
