Central Europe Revisited I: The participating artists are Attila Adorjan (HU), Erik Binder (SK), Tomislav Buntak (HR), Maria Bussmann (AT), Petra Feriancova (SK), Ivana Franke (HR), Dominika Horakova (SK), Marek Kvetan (SK), Denisa Lehocka (SK), Andreas Leikauf (AT), Zsusza Moizer (HU), Hajnal Nemeth (HU), Goran Petercol (HR), Renata Poljak (HR), Dubravka Rakoci (HR), Lois Renner (AT), Eva Schlegel (AT), Agnes Szepfalvi (HU), Tamas Trombitas (HU), Sebastian Weissenbacher (AT), XYZ: Matej Gavula and Milan Tittel (SK), Leo Zogmayer (AT).
For the first time an exciting selection of contemporary art will be shown at the Sala Terrena, the columned hall on the ground floor of the Esterhazy Palace, which is a central location without frontiers where cultures merge. The exhibition Central Europe Revisited I is a reflection of the artistic dialogue encompassing several countries, and thus of the juncture of the Central-European cultural regions. In cooperation with Galerie Ernst Hilger in Vienna, and under the curatorship of Dr. Lorand Hegyi, artists from Austria, Croatia, Hungary and Slovakia will present their paintings, drawings, object and video art, as well as photography.
