ALEXANDER REZNIKOV COLLECTION PRESENTED IN AUSTRIA FOR THE FIRST TIME AT WIENER KÜNSTLERHAUS K/HAUS, TOGETHER WITH WINNERS OF THE FIRST ALEXANDER REZNIKOV AWARD

The exhibition will show visitors an exciting confrontation of works by young artists from Austria and Russia, as well as their perspectives. The passion of Alexander Reznikov to collect art began with purchases of works by the second Russian avant-garde. Parallel to that, he focused his interest on young artists both from Russia and Austria, his adoptive country. The contemporary art from the two countries, which is comprised in his collection, will now be made accessible to the public in exhibitions and permanent loans, as well as in the form of donations to art institutions. Quite separate from his personal preferences as an art collector, he launched the Alexander Reznikov Award for artists below the age of 35.
