Giulietta Speranza, artistic director of Art Fairs, company that also organizes MADRIDFOTO, along with JUST MAD curatorial team, formed by Javier Duero,Martí Manen and Luiza Teixeira de Freitas are pleased to announce the selection of galleries participating in the 3rd Edition of JUSTMAD. The contemporary art fair will take place from the16th to the 19th of February 2012 in the Hotel Silken Puerta America in the centre of Madrid. JUSTMAD3 continues to grow, more than 70 exhibitors among general program galleries, desing galleries and schools will occupy this year the parking of the Hotel Silken Puerta América. Seventy galleries will form part of the general program, a quarter of which will be foreign. Cities such as Berlin, Lisbon, Porto, Buenos Aires or Seoul will be represented. In this 3rd edition, JUSTMAD presents very interesting novelties; the new location in the first floor of the magnificent Hotel Silken Puerta America as well as new sections, PUBLISHERS’CORNER and FOREVERTONIGHT. The splendid avant-garde car park of the Hotel, a modern and fun space designed by the Italian architect Teresa Sapey, will be the original place that will hold all the art pieces from all the participating galleries. Other areas of this unique hotel have also been designed by prestigious international architects and designers such as; John Pawson, Zaha Hadid, Katrin Findlay, Jean Nouvel, Ron Arad, Norman Foster, David Chiperffield ,among others, will host the spaces that will take in the other sections of PRODUCERS’DESK, PUBLISHERS’CORNER and FOREVERTONIGHT. Due to the success experienced in its previous edition, contemporary design is back in JUSTMAD with its section JUSTMAD DESIGN, curated by the expert Rocío Bardín.
