Loose Associations (Version 1.1)

London-based artist Ryan Gander will present Loose Associations Lecture (Version 1.1), a touring lecture first staged by the artist in 2001 and continuously adapted and added to ever since. Performed as a thoughtful and widely ruminative meditation on cultural phenomena, Ganders presentation of video, images, and sound leaps from such disparate subjects as architecture and design to James Bond. Gander weaves a narrative that not only reveals or more appropriately, obscures his complex working method, but also highlights his ongoing project of expanding the parameters of artistic discourse.
