sm.ART curating & consulting wishes HAPPY SUMMER …with video stills by San Jose-based artist Sieglinde van Damme called "Ice Transitions" from the video "Integrity of Transitions", 2006 "'Integrity of Transitions' is a visual exploration on ice, water and light. As our eyes move through the camera and both sharp and blurry images alternate on our retina, the accompanying soundtrack pretends to portray the sounds our exploring eye movements could be making. The transitions refer to the constant need for adjusting as we encounter different issues and situations in day to day living."
